You can do basically whatever to all the creatures that you watch. If you don’t like how a particular town or even a whole civilization turned out, you are free to destroy it. Use your omnipotence and change the course of history. And when you are done, replace the eliminated living things with new ones.

Remember that each creature has its skills, abilities, requirements and dreams. This is exactly what will guide them. People will found new villages and turn them into cities and kingdoms.

They will interact with each other and the environment in good or bad ways. Although, you can always influence their choices and make them change their paths.
